OK! Magazine is bringing you new ‘exclusives’ this week on the pop princess you all know everything about.The headline reads : ‘10 Years Later - What Price Fame? - A decade since her first hit, we reveal the secret deal Britney made for a comeback - and how it’s tearing her apart’. According to the mag, Britney Spears has trade her kids for fame, saying she gave up regaining the custody of her children to make her comeback. Last fall, as her upcoming concert tour was being organized, Brit’s camp discovered that because of the star’s history, they could not purchase insurance to cover her tour unless she was still under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears. Until that point, the plan was for the conservatorship to be lifted on Dec. 31, followed by Britney, 27, heading to family court with a petition to regain custody of Preston and Jayden.But an ~”insider”~ revealed to OK! ‘The insurance situation changed everything!’.And so, Britney Spears agreed to accept her father as conservator — and the decision that made her legally a child. ‘Whether it was her decision or whether she was pressured into it, Britney’s deal with the devil put the tour ahead of the kids,’ the ~’insider’~ tells OK!. Britney Spears is featured on the cover of next ‘Rolling Stone’ issue (click the picture to view in full size)– USA Today has got a sneak peek in which Britney talks about her comeback and what’s been her life in the past 10 months saying she’s feeling mature after her hospital breakdown earlier this year. To be exact, ‘I feel like an old person now,’she says in Rolling Stone’s next issue, out Friday. ‘I do! I go to bed at, like, 9:30 every night, and I don’t go out or anything.’Indeed, the pop star has come a long way from her two trips to hospital psychiatric wards this year, the magazine says. After the last trip, in early February, her father, Jamie, filed for legal conservatorship so that he and attorney Andrew Wallet would oversee her finances and personal affairs. Rolling Stone said reporter Jenny Eliscu interviewing the popstar is a ‘rigorously micromanaged process’ — She adds: ’We were never left alone together, and my questions had to be submitted ahead of time for approval,’ Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph also says a bit about Britney on the issue:’Her job is to be Britney Spears, and unfortunately, that job bleeds into her personal life and creates this odd situation where she needs to have security people around her all the time’ Britney also spoke about her love life problems and she turns serious when the topic is her children.Despite losing custody of her sons, Preston, 3, and Jayden, 2, to her ex-husband Kevin Federline, Spears has been able to see them more often, thanks in part to the conservatorship, She says: ‘Every time they come to visit me, I think about how they’re such special people,’ she says. And I thought this subject was so January 2008, but since american tabloids spent a few weeks without selling much issues, they decided to invent Britney things again — Star Magazine this week is reporting about ‘more trouble’ to popstar Britney Spears life, also saying she’s being forced to leave her kids to her career and that she’s on drugs as well, See the description for the article, than can be found in their website: It had been ages since Britney Spears could let loose and have a little fun. But on the night of Oct. 31, a shy, smiling Britney - dressed first as an angel in a silver wig and dress, then changing into a witch’s costume - was spotted at not one but two Halloween house parties: one thrown by actress Drew Barrymore and the other by businessman Phil Maloof, a friend of Britney’s. But the evening was hardly as carefree as it may have seemed. In addition to a group of gal pals keeping an eye on the singer, Brit, 26, had a designated chaperone at both bashes. Her agent, Jason Trawick, escorted her to Drew’s party, and Britney’s father, clad in a ghoulish mask, stuck by her side at Phil’s mansion bash. The reason for their presence, reveals a Spears family insider, was simple: Brit’s dad is still worried that his daughter is not ready to cope on her own. “He’s not trying to embarrass her,” the insider tells Life & Style. “But he doesn’t think she can handle being out and about by herself yet. So unless she goes out with Jamie or someone Jamie trusts, like Jason, Britney isn’t allowed to go.” His motivations, the insider adds, are personal and professional. “He doesn’t want to see his daughter get hurt - and he really doesn’t want anything to stand in the way of her comeback.” Related Posts: |

Britney Hits Back!That’s what it’s said on the cover of this week’s OK! Magazine: On Sept. 7, Britney Spears faced the world from the stage at MTV’s 2008 VMA awards, clear-eyed, fit and confident, one year after her disastrous performance at the 2007 awards show. After beating out fierce competitors in all three of the categories she was nominated in (Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year) Britney not only captured her Moonmen, she proved to the world that she’s back. But winning the acceptance and applause of her peers is only one of the battles Britney is waging. Her next album, which OK! can exclusively reveal will be released by late December, has to be a monster hit to sustain her comeback, and all signs indicate that it will deliver. “It’s my best work ever,” Britney proudly told OK!. Even more important in Britney’s battle is her effort to win joint custody of her sons, Preston and Jayden, from her ex-husband Kevin Federline. “Her goal is to regain joint custody of her sons as soon as her dad Jamie’s status as her conservator ends,” a Spears insider tells OK!. But before then, Britney has some other planning to do — party planning that is! As the proud mom told OK! during our exclusive interview, she is organizing a joint affair for her sons to celebrate Jayden’s second birthday on Sept. 12 and Preston’s third birthday on Sept. 14, with the help of her father. “I want to have a traditional party,” she told OK!. “I have some friends with kids who I am going to invite.” Her mom, Lynne Spears, has also been making headlines with her new book titled Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World. Although gossip blogs buzzed over supposed scandalous details in the memoir, the book is more about Lynne’s experience as a mother through Britney’s tough times, as the Associated Press reported. “Regardless of what people might think, Britney isn’t upset about the book,” an insider tells OK!. “After a tough last year, Brit and Lynne have a wonderful relationship again.” Source: OK!
