FOX News reports that “Britney Spears is definitely in the studio and working on a new album”.

Despite any other rumors, FOX News has confirmed that popstar Britney Spears is working on a new cd that JIVE hopes to debut mid-december this year.

According to sources, this new album is not going to be different then Britney’s previous one, Blackout, Same producers and songwritters working on it and also same “mood” songs, talking about Britney’s personal life, problems, etc.

Probably the difference between albums is going to be that Britney won’t make a MTV Video Music Awards performance, called by lots of people as self-destructive, and won’t have a public nervous breakdown while the album is being released.

The reason for this big push to put out new Britney in stores is that the popstar costs JIVE a lot of money and if they can finish the album until december 2008, Britney could embark on a new world tour in 2009.
