Aftonbladet, Expressen, Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet, Biggest Sweden’s newspapers are going to boycott Britney Spears concert in Stockholm.
The ‘Circus Tour’ staff are demanding that swedish newspapers, magazines and other press related need to sign a contract for the use of photographed material during the show in Stockholm, next July 13.
Some details of the contract include that the photos taken in the concert should not be used 30 days after the show, The staff will choose each pictures are going to be published on articles, they must not sell to agencies or any other way of copyright and that the copyright will belong to Britney’s management.
The concert organizer, AEG Live, released a statement to make it clear that the demands are from Britney’s staff and not from AEG.
“If they don’t rip up the contract, we’re not going to take any photos,” Dagens Nyheter’s photo editor Roger Turesson said to the newspaper.
Those newspapers and many others said they’ll boycott the show and will not have a coverage for it unless the staff waives this contract.
