JIVE Records/Zomba announces in a statement what the we’ve been waiting for.Popstar Britney Spears’ new album is officially titled as ‘Circus’ and the first single is ‘Womanizer’ and will debut the U.S. Radio stations September 22nd 2008.
They have also announced the album debut day, set to December 2nd 2008, exactly, Britney’s birthday!
On the heels of the MTV VMAs sweep, Jive Records is preparing her latest album, Circus, a follow-up to her critically well received album, Blackout.Among the producers and songwritters who have worked on this project we have Danja (‘Gimme More’), Bloodhsy & Avant (‘Toxic’, ‘Radar’, ‘Toy Soldier’), Max Martin (‘Oops!…I Did It Again’), Dr.Luke (Who produced first sinlge, ‘Womanizer’), Guy Sigsworth (who have worked with Madonna, Bjork…) and others.
Britney Spears is currently the highest selling artist from Zomba Label Group and one of the highest selling artists in music history, In less than 10 years she has more than 85 million albums sold and 35 million singles sold worldwide.
