Britney Spears attended The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards yesterday (January 31) at The Staples Center in Los Angeles. She had a front-row seat to the show and her alleged boyfriend Jason Trawick was with her. Unfourtunately, The only award she was nominated to “Best Dance Recording” for “Womanizer”, the winner was Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face”.

On the arrivals to the show, Britney didn’t pose at the red carpet and went straight to the arena.

Britney made a little fan happy, she hugged a little girl that was smiling at her near the cinema, the girl ran to her mom and said happily: “Britney Spears just hugged me!”, How cute!

Britney Spears asked permission on court on Friday (January 22 2010) if she could make an auction for the dress she wore at The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards for Haiti relief.

“Britney is very enthusiastic about making a donation to the cause,” Radar Online quoted the Britney’s attorney Sam Ingham as saying.

Spears’ lawyers also requested if other personal objects Britney no longer uses could be donated to auction as well.

On the hearing held this Friday, her father Jamie Spears remained as her conservator, being the person responsible for Britney’s finances and legal affairs as well as for the singer herself.

CANDIE’s published a press released stating that Britney Spears was re-signed to work with them for the 2010 year:

(NASDAQ: ICON) announced today it has renewed its exclusive partnership with international icon, Britney Spears for its Candie’s brand, which is available only at Kohl’s Department Stores (NYSE: KSS) and Kohls.com. Spears will appear in the Candie’s only at Kohl’s marketing campaigns throughout 2010.

Commenting on the partnership, Britney Spears stated, “I had a great experience working with Candie’s and Kohl’s last year and I am thrilled to be asked to sign on again for a second year. We’re planning some very cool photo shoots and I can’t wait for my fans to see them.”

Photogs caught Britney Spears out in Calabasas as she managed to shop at Barnes & Nobles bookstore, get her nails done at a local salon and then shopping at a jewelry store, when asked by a x17 agency photographer if she was shopping to get herself pretty for alleged boyfriend Jason Trawick, Britney replied: “For me!”

Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner in Britney Spears conservatorship case want a courtroom performance from Ms. Spears and it didn’t happen yesterday (January 15), when it was supposed to do.

Reva Goetz, the commissioner, said that Britney was supposed to show at court at 1:30 P.M., but the pop princess didn’t show after she was informed by her lawyers that she didn’t need to.

The commissioner wasn’t as receptive to the news that Britney wasn’t showing and re-scheduled the hearing to next Friday (January 22), and Britney needs to attend it.

A reportedly new Britney Spears song has been registered on the ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers). Accordingly to the leaked information, the song, titled “Follow My Fingers”, was written by Britney herself, Cathy Dennis (writer of ‘Toxic’), Michael McGroarty e Nicole Morie (writers of “Heaven On Earth”).

No further details were published over this information, however, it’s expected it’s for Britney’s rumoured 7th album, to be released Summer 2010.
