Britney parents, Jamie and Lynne said they’re very pleased with their daughter’s progress and very appreciative of court’s recognition of this progress.After the hearing, Britney was spotted smiling and leaving with her parents.

The next progress hearing is scheduled for July 15th.

The court hearing begun at 8:00 a.m. (Los Angeles Time), there were dozens of photographers, reporters, police and also helicopters outside the court house waiting for super popstar Britney Spears, Also, The craziness outside started at 8, the hearing really started at 8:30, Britney arrived at 8:02, Kevin arrived some minutes earlier than 8:30.

At 8:56 a.m., Britney sat on a private room at the court house, waiting for her case to be heard.The commish has other cases on his docket this AM — and we hear Brit and company should be called around 9:30 AM.

9:00 a.m., The hearing begun in room 831, Britney and Kevin entered the room around 9:30. Brit walked in with her hands clasped in front of her, looking down. Someone told her she looked good and Brit just smiled back. According to all accounts, “Brit looks good.” The media and everyone in the courtroom not related to the case, was asked to leave the room under the Family Code 214 which states: “Except as otherwise provided in this code or by court rule, the court may, when it considers it necessary in the interests of justice and the persons involved, direct the trial of any issue of fact joined in a proceeding under this code to be private, and may exclude all persons except the officers of the court, the parties, their witnesses, and counsel.”

10:25 a.m. - Court has taken a recess and Brit is out in the hall looking very upset. Our spy says that while Britney isn’t actually crying in the hallway — but it looks like she might have been crying in court, Britney left the room, But Lynne and Jamie were still inside with Brit’s attorney, Britney backs to court 5 minutes later.

11:52 a.m. - Britney Spears and Kevin Federline (along with all their respective parties) are back in the courtroom after spending close to an hour in a private meeting room.

12:00 p.m. - The two sides are out of court and we’re expecting both parties will have something to say. The hearing is done for the day — no word yet on what went down.

12:17 p.m. - We’re told Allan Parachini, director of public information for LA County courts, will address the media about a “modification in custody.” Sounds like good news for Brit!

12:25 p.m. - Britney and Kevin are already out of court, Press is waiting for Allan Parachini to announce the changes on the children custody.

Britney Spears looks amazing on the only one released still from her second guest appearance on CBS hitshow “How I Met Your Mother”, The popstar will reprise her role as the recepcionist Abby. “”I had such a great experience the last time I was on the show that I couldn’t wait to come back. I was really looking forward to working with this cast and crew again. Everyone was so nice. Abby is going to have a lot of fun!” - Said Britney.

TMZ has learned Britney Spears will appear in court tomorrow to personally make her case for more face time with her kids.

Right now Brit has limited supervised visitation. Britney and her lawyer will argue that because of the progress she has made, she should have significantly more time with her kids.

Could be the most important hearing so far. Of course, we will live stream Brit’s arrival. The hearing starts at 8:30 AM PT.

But after going through her books, Jamie must have learned just how much of a toll Britney’s crazy behavior, which started in February 2007 when she shaved her head, has had on her bank account — she’s lost nearly $61 million. “It’s staggering how much money has been used up,” a family friend says.

In addition to the enormous tab for legal bills, rehab and psychiatric care, Britney’s inability to work has cost her a fortune. “By not touring for her last album [Blackout], she lost out on $50 million,” estimates Robert Bianchi, an LA-based CPA who isn’t an accountant for Britney. Jamie hired his own accountants to sort out the money mess and bring an end to the 26-year-old’s excessive spending. “It’s been quite a challenge getting things under control,” the insider says. Luckily, as Britney’s mental health improves, so does her bottom line. “She’s spending about a fifth of what she used to,” the insider adds.

According to Life&Style, Kevin “is considering granting his ex overnight visits with the kids, after Britney filed a formal request with the courts.” and a source told them that he hasn’t said yes, But he’s really considering it.

American TV channel CBS has confirmed superstar Britney Spears second appearance on the hitshow “How I Met Your Mother”, but this time around her ditzy character Abby is teaming up with the womanizing Barney (Neil Patrick Harris).

Production of the episode began today.”We’re all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again. And just to head it off at the pass this time around: Yes, Mom, Britney’s very nice and no, I can’t get her autograph for you,” said Craig Thomas, executive producer and co-creator of the show.

In the episode, Barney and Abby realize that they have one thing in common: their mutual hatred of her unrequited love Ted (Jason Radnor). The “couple” decides to go to the bar to flaunt their new relationship in Ted’s face. Desperate to get a rise out of his former pal, Barney pops a surprising question to Abby.

Britney’s previous apperance on the show on March 24 brought almost 11 million viewers to the show - a record for the sitcom that is currently on it’s third season.

“How I Met Your Mother” airs Mondays at 8:30 pm (ET/PT) on CBS, Britney’s new appearance airs on May 12.
